The US has active use of ISO/IEC 9637-2 and would like to see the
standard reaffirmed.

Subject: Systematic reviews of SC 24 standards

Hello

I have just had the results of the systematic review of our standards.
Whilst all the standards received a majority vote for confirmation, the
standards listed below were proposed for withdrawal by France, Germany and
Japan. Do you have any thoughts on whether we should
consider withdrawal of these documents???

ISO/IEC 12089 : Encoding for Imaging Interchange Facility (IIF)

ISO/IEC 9637-2 CGI : Binary Encoding

Thanks
Jean
