Dear Member

I have just received notification that the Secretari Generals of ISO and
IEC have formally
approved the Co-operative agreements proposed, via JTC 1, between ISO/IEC
JTC 1/SC 24
and ISMC. AGIV and VRML Consortium (drafted June 1996).

It should be noted that a revised/extended agreement between the VRML
COnsortium and SC 24 was
drafted in Kista and this will also need to be formally approved.
