Dear Members,

Following the JTC 1 Re-engineering meeting in Berlin, I regret to announce the
Project
JTC 1.24.2.09 : ISO/IEC CD 8651-5 : GKS Language Binding to Fortran 90 has been
cancelled.

This project is currently under FCD ballot in SC 24 as N 1586 - please note this
ballot has now
been cancelled.

The UK are intending to submit a revised version of the FCD text to JTC 1 for
fast-tracking,
and I would therefore welcome any NB input which has already been prepared to be
submitted to me.

Many thanks and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

J M Stride
ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 24
