FOR INFORMATION ONLY

Because ISO/IEC 12087-3 did not receive the required majority of 
approval votes at the DIS ballot
stage, ISO/CS will hold a special enquiry prior to publishing the 
document.  MBs who disapproved
the document, (Austria, France, Germany, Japan, Romania, UK & US)  will 
be approached to
ascertain whether they now approve publication of the standard, based 
on the final text being
that circulated in SC 24 N 1277.
