Subject: ISO 10646 character namesand positions available

There is an official list of all character names of the ISO/IEC 10646
standard available, in the file:

     ftp://dkuug.dk/JTC1/SC2/WG2/docs/annexe-r.txt

The list of character names and positions is free to use, also for
commercial software, and permission to distribute this information
has been given by the ISO central secretariat.

The list contains all character names except for the Hangul (Korean)
script.

The list reflects the current status of the 10646 standard, including
the tecnical corrigendum TCOR1 published 1996-03-01.
