Hello,

I am pleased to announce the publication of the revised PHIGS standards,
ISO/IEC 9592 Parts 1 - 3 : 1997, by ISO, on 15 November 1997.  These
replace, and cancel 
the first editions of ISO/IEC 9592 parts 1 - 4 published in 1989/1992, plus
all the various 
published amendments and corrigenda.

On behalf of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 24, I would like to thank all those involved
with
the production of these standards, especially Bob Hopgood, Dave Duce and
Dick Puk.
