Subject: Project 24.02.09: GKS Binding to Fortran 90

The attached position has been drafted in the UK in an effort to prevent
the cancellation of the GKS Language Binding Project to Fortran 90.
(The project is currently under-going a 2nd period of CD balloting and
your support for it's completion  in your responses to the ballot would also be
appreciated ) 

I am circulating the draft  to the SC 24 members for a brief review, 
prior to submission to JTC 1. 

 Please submit any comments you may have to me, by email,
by 13 February 1997.
