The question of the reaffirmation of PHIGS language bindings has been
raised by ISO CS. In particular, they have asked SC24 to reaffirm ISO 9593
Parts 1 and 3 (PHIGS Fortran and PHIGS Ada.) Based on the decisions taken
at Bordeaux regarding furure republication of the PHIGS base standard, I
would like to go ahead and instruct ISO CS that SC24 wishes to reaffirm
these two language bindings also.

If any NB objects to this decision, please let me know by 1200 UTC on
Tuesday 20 December.
