CPL works through the Standards Council of Canada which gives Canadian positions and casts the votes to the SC22, and hosts working groups to provide a forum for technical experts working at national and international level. Meetings are held quarterly. Currently active groups with CPL are as follows: SC22 chair CPL Mr. S. Michell SC22/WG3 APL Mr. L. Dickey - Convener WG3 SC22/WG9 Ada Mr. S. Michell SC22/WG14 C Mr. R. Sutter Secretariat duties are handled by Mr. Doug Langlotz. As an organization we continue to struggle with membership and participation in programming language standardization. This area is a relatively stable and slower growth part of the high technology arena.
