However, we note with gratitude the possibility to participate (again de novo) in two WGS: 11 and 30 inspite of lacking funds. In addition there are three purely national activities: - PEARL: very active (will be presented at the plenary) - "Fachwoerterliste" a national thesaurus on IT-terms: slow progress - OO-examples for the different programming languages: some progress The DIN had to cut the funding drastically due to cuts in governmental support.
