Pascal Project Editor Report to the September 1999 SC22 Plenary

A list of clarifications and minor amendments to the Object Report,
arising from the first implementation, has been circulated. There
have been some individual discussions, and the proposed improvements
to the definition were generally accepted.

In January, agreement was reached with BSI, who have the copyright
of the Pascal Validation Suite, that the test programs (without the
validation tools) should be made available at a modest cost to cover
distribution. Purchasers are required to respect BSI's copyright,
and not to use the tests as the basis of claims which might be taken
to imply that a third-party validation had taken place, or that are
the result of running only a selection of the tests. Details are
available from Prospero, who distribute the suite on behalf of BSI.

No SC22 actions relating to Pascal are requested at this time.
