MANAGEMENT SUMMARY 1.1 JTC1/SC22/WG22 STATEMENT OF SCOPE Development and maintenance of ISO/IEC Standards related to the PCTE interface. 1.2 PROJECTS UNDERWAY JTC1.22.47.1 - PCTE maintenance Parts 1, 2 and 3 JTC1.22.47.2 - PCTE Object Orientation Extensions JTC1.22.47.3 - PCTE Fine Grain Object Extensions JTC1.22.47.4 - PCTE part 4: IDL binding 2.0 PERIOD REVIEW 2.1 MARKET REQUIREMENTS The PCTE market has remained stable and specialized. 2.2 ACHIEVEMENTS WG22 has completed all tasks assigned to it. The new edition of ISO PCTE is in the hands of ITTF, ready for publication. This edition collects alltogether: - PCTE corrigenda - PCTE addenda for object oriented extensions - PCTE addanda for fine grain extensions for each part of the standard: - part 1: abstract specification - part 2: C binding - part 3: Ada binding - part 4: IDL binding (new part produced by ECMA through a succesfull fast-track submission) 2.3 RESOURCES The resources of WG22 are currently limited to its officers: - Regis Minot, convener - John Dawes, project editor - Chris Brockway, secretary 3.0 FOCUS NEXT WORK PERIOD No work is planned. WG22 has accomplished all the tasks assigned to it. 3.1 DELIVERABLES All planned deliverables have been produced. 3.2 STRATEGIES Not applicable. 3.2.1 RISKS None foreseen at this point. 3.2.2 OPPORTUNITIES None foreseen at this point. 3.3 WORK PROGRAM PRIORITIES No longer applicable. 4. OTHER ITEMS This section lists other items that are not part of the "Business Plan" but are appropriate for Convener's Report. 4.1 WG22 status WG22 current officers are achieving their 4th year mandate and recommend that WG22 becomes a dormant committee.
