National Body Comments:
Netherlands:
The N 4058 document contains minor revisions on the Prolog core =
standard
(ISO/IEC 13211-1): layout issues, textual corrections, replace some
ambiguous terms. It also provides some fixes to examples as well as
additional examples clarify certain aspects. As far as we can tell,
completely in line with the spirit of the original document.

There is only one change, that is to interpret "name" as an operator if
double-quotes are set to 'atom'. We are not totally happy with that, =
but it
is completely in line with "name" acting as operator, something which =
has
always been common place in the Prolog community.

We see no objections to this proposal and advice to vote a simple yes. =

United Kingdom:
There is a misprint in one of the corrections:

7.2.5 c) 2)
	Replace=09
		2) if XN is the ...
	by
		2) XN is the ...>>

The '>>' characters should be deleted.=20

The misprint does not occur in Defect report 13211-1/7, If this =
comment is
accepted, the UK vote is changed to "yes".
