We would like to draw the attention of SC 22 to the = following inconsistencies or minor errors which need to be corrected before = publication of the Technical Corrigendum:

Item 14 page 454 GOBACK statement
Syntax rule 4) a) b) c) this text is copied from the EXIT = statement, but here the word EXIT should be replaced by = GOBACK.

Syntax rule 6) should be numbered = 5)

Item 17 last line referencing page 567 :
This is not part of item 17 but a main item ( should get number = 18)

In the rules to be added to 14.8.17.2, GOBACK statement, = Syntax Rule

4)b) must be modified. Delete the following = portion, which is the last part of this one sentence rule.

"... and the presence or absence of the = FACTORY phrase is the same

in the data description entry of identifier-1 as = in the RAISING

phrase of the procedure division header of the = containing source

element."

INCITS J4 document J4/04-0199, Typos in EXIT and SET = statements (Mr. Ab de Lange), asks for the very same modification to one of the = rules for EXIT statement, since the combination of 'interface-name' and a FACTORY = phrase is not possible. INCITS J4 approved 04-0199 as written for = inclusion in the Project Editor Change Proposal at J4 meeting = 249.

Although the intention of item 14 of TC2 is to copy some = rules for EXIT statement and put them as the rules for GOBACK statement, such = an apparent error in the original should not be = duplicated.

2) Add more words to the citation = in which the change is to be made so that it is uniquely = identifiable: change "raised" to "raised by a RAISE = statement".
