The direct attendees were: Wendy Fong , chairman J Consortium Toshiaki Kurokawa, JTC1/SC22 JSC Louis-Francois Pau (Ericsson), J Consortium Vania Joloboff (Groupe Silicomp), J Consortium Alain Rhelimi (SLB), J Consortium Jacques Brygier (Aonix), J Consortium Jean-Paul Billon (SLB), chairman JEFFWG (J Consortium) Jean-Bernard Blanchet, editor JEFFWG (J Consortium) Kent Karlsson, JTC1/SC22 SIS and Rex Jaeschke, JTC1/SC22 USA participated by email. The purpose of the meeting was to integrate in the final JEFF standard the clarifications answering the comments provided by the following three subcommittees: United States, Japan and Sweden. It has been verified that all the comments provided by the Japan, Sweden and US committees had been answered. All the requests provided by the US and Japan committees in their comments have been answered positively and the corresponding updates integrated in the final document. To satisfy the requests of the Sweden committee on character encoding, the JEFF specification has further been updated to refer to ISO/IEC 10646 standard. Two versions of the updated specification have been produced. One, where all the updates are traced explaining to which subcommittee's comments each update is related, and a final version ready for publication.
