  ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22
Guidelies for the creation and maintanance of WWW home pages describing SC22
          organization & standards.

World Wide Web issues for SC22 groups:
Issues of particular concern are control of contents with regard to accuracy,
                 privacy, commercialism, and copyright.

     Author
The Creator/maintainer of the home page should be directly responsible
to the chairman or convenor of the group.

     Contents
A basic outline - Proposed Contents - see another document
Caveats concerning content - Consider the impact of including:
               Commercial information
Links to commercial interests, such as providors of:
                         compilers
                         validators
                         standard libraries
Fairness - if it mentions any commercial interest, does it
                              have to mention all?
Personal information such as attendee lists, mailing lists
Privacy is an issue; some participants may not want their
                              contact information made public.
                    Permit only with addressee permission?
How much information? (name, organization, address,
                              telephone, fax, email?)
Note that keeping names & addresses current is a
                              continuous task.
               Document ownership:
Who can link to WDs, etc. if they re available on-line?
               Copyrighted materials
                    DISs and ISs are copyrighted.
Keeping the home page continuously updated is critical to maintain
                    interest.
          Linking issues:
               Links to other sites
Sites open to the general public
                    Restricted sites (ie: C++)
FTP sites - see copyright, above.
WWW sites - see commercial interests, above.
Links from other sites probably can't be controlled
